Some useful resources to assist you with practising the Craft of Writing on your journey towards the HSC Examination.

Prescribed Texts:

  • The complete list of Standard English Craft of Writing Prescribed Texts with some brief summaries and analysis of each text. Please note that this was originally written for English teachers to read - it should still be useful in giving students some ideas for critically engaging with their Prescribed Texts.
  • The complete list of Advanced English Craft of Writing Prescribed Texts with brief summaries and analysis. Also originally written for English teachers but still useful for students.
